Dr. Heather Hensley

We want to welcome Heather Hensley, DO, to Cornerstone Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center!

Patients appreciate Dr. Heather Hensley for her warm, thorough style and commitment to providing evidence-based medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care. As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Hensley combines the latest advances in dermatology with a compassionate, personalized approach.

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Hensley began her healthcare career as a physical therapist after earning a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. She later earned her Medical Degree from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, where she was named Student Doctor of the Year and inducted into the prestigious Omega Beta Iota Honor Society. After completing her internship, she completed her dermatology residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Atlanta.

Beyond caring for patients, Dr. Hensley is passionate about advancing the field of dermatology through education. She has served as Assistant Program Director for a dermatology residency program, mentors future physicians, lectures nationally on emerging dermatologic therapies, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. Recognized by her peers as one of Atlanta Magazine’s Top Doctors, Dr. Hensley is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of the American Osteopathic Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Hensley enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors with her husband, family, and their golden retriever, Simon. A lifelong Oklahoma Sooners fan, she is delighted to be back home seeing patients in Tulsa.
