Dr. Nate Hansen

Dr. Nate Hansen is a double board-certified, double fellowship-trained dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Cornerstone Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center in Tulsa. He completed his ACGME-accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at the Skin Institute of South Florida, as well as an ASDS-accredited fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery at Hollywood Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Specialists.

Prior to fellowship, Dr. Hansen completed his dermatology residency at Corewell Health in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an Associate Member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Hansen was drawn to Mohs surgery because it combines many of the aspects of medicine he enjoys most: problem-solving, precision, surgery, and the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful difference in a patient’s life. He particularly enjoys the reconstructive aspect of Mohs surgery and the challenge of restoring both function and appearance following skin cancer removal. He approaches each case thoughtfully and meticulously, with the goal of achieving the best possible medical, surgical, and cosmetic outcome for every patient.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hansen enjoys staying active and spending as much time outdoors as possible. He is an avid golfer and enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, and exploring new places.
